Santa Fe is beautiful

Santa Fe is a beautiful blend of American Indian, Mexican and American culture.
Color and texture.

Mexican flavor. Mosaico.

Wild West Folklore

Cool afternoons with gentle rain.

The window sills of Santa Fe Plaza.

A cathedral, of course.

Patterns

Everything in Santa Fe is stucco even McDonalds!

The land of high plains and mesas.
Ahh...my favorite place.
Color and columns.

Cuernos de chile. A Southwestern icon.
Archiving documents unique to this region.

More stucco.

I buy an ear cuff.

The plaza for lunch taquitos y agua de sandia.

Santa Fe skyline.
Fascinating doorways.

More window sills.

Artists everywhere.

Wooden pillars and color.

Turquoise and earthtones. I fit in.

Cool enough to rest outside in the afternoon!!

Bells ring every quarter hour.

Spanish colonial influence.

Local saints.

Mountain top experience

Mountain flowers on the banks of icy mountain creek.

Skies framed with mountain ridges and tree tops.

Drinking coffee and reading a book. A great way to start the day.

Trail through a mountain meadow

A mountain meadow!
Leaving the forest and entering the wilderness.

Lots of mountain meadow flowers.

Spectacular stars from the peaks in the middle of the night.

More mountain flowers.

Icy cold creek waters.

Clear  mountain waters.

The forest road in the valley. Ranges in the horizon

Afternoon rains on the mountain heights.

A bridge makes crossing so much easier.

Sights from the trail.

Night skies from the top
